Fire resistance: The composition is based on aluminium and the core of the panel is composed of a low-density thermoplastic polymer (LDPE) with a flame retardant mineral charge. All of this results in a material with innovative properties to protect against fire. The panel's Euroclass classification is B s1 d0. Which technical solutions can be employed with Alluslate®? Complex machining The Alluslate® technical aluminium and composite wall panels allow complex machining without impacting on the panel structure. These panels do not accumulate tension, so they can be drilled, cut or bent to work around columns, corners, plugs and other wall elements. Technical aluminium panels can be transformed in a workshop or on site using basic tools such as drills, a manual milling machine or a circular saw, or many other tools used in carpentry or metal work. Continuous solutions Alluslate® aluminium panels with a Matt finish can be bent using simple milling techniques on the back of the panel and then bent over. This technique allows the creation of internal or external corners without joints, with material continuity which maintains the characteristics of the panel. Say yes to curves To create bends or curves with Matt finish Alluslate® aluminium panels, the best option is to use a roller bending machine, but you could also use a membrane press and its corresponding mould with no need to employ heat. Different connection options The material is supplied with rectified sides, so it can be installed in the following ways: Head to head: Edge to edge, the recommended option if you wish to maintain the visual continuity of the design. In the event that the panels are to be installed in damp environments, we recommend this head-to-head installation and the use of the appropriate sealant between the panels to avoid filtration. Profiles can be used when required for the installation. Versatility of Alluslate® designs Alluslate® can be used to create continuous, infinite designs by placing the pieces successively, both horizontally and vertically, so that the panel motifs coincide in all directions.
