The studio of Beatrice Oreal and architect Erwan Sauvetre recreate a glacier with KRION at E. Leclerc

The French supermarket chain E.Leclerc continues its growth by opening a new centre on the French border with Switzerland in Ville-la-Grand. Entrusted with this project were the studio of interior designer Beatrice Oreal and architect Erwan Sauvetre, who designed enormous arctic glaciers throughout the upper perimeter of the supermarket. The combined work of Beatrice and Erwan has led to an interior design concept in which shapes are combined with light and shadows, creating a backdrop around the establishment, with a total area of 300 linear metres in which the PORCELANOSA Group material,... KRION, has been used. This is not the first time that E.Leclerc supermarkets have used the solid surface KRION, but it is the first time it has been transformed into large pieces with geometric shapes, serving as a wall covering and creating a composition with a high visual impact. FORMA Design moves away from tradition, using KRION in Capital Aesthetic + Laser Center in Washington D.C.

The FORMA Design studio was in charge of using the solid surface from PORCELANOSA Group, KRION, to design the Capital Aesthetic + Laser Center project. It has an unusual and ingenious layout, which divides the reception area, making a more effective use of the premises, and using colours to differentiate both spaces and brands. Since it began in 1994, the FORMA Design studio has been awarded with a multitude of distinctions, winning the award granted by the American Institute of Architects 12 times, and winning the award granted by the International Interior Design Association on 18... occasions, among other important recognitions. We can find KRION transformed in the reception, washbasins and countertops of the rooms in the KRION 1100 Snow White colour, selected for Capital Aesthetic + Laser Center, Washington D.C., USA, due to its aseptic character and its multitude of properties which make it ideal for the healthcare sector. Capital Aesthetic + Laser Center is a multifunctional space in which we find a plastic surgery clinic specialised in botox, fillers, and liposuction, among other aesthetic procedures, and the comprehensive clinic for injuries, specialised in the elderly who have experienced major trauma.         KRION PORCELANOSA SOLID SURFACE

Dobleese incorporates KRION in the functional and innovative Hospital Veterinario Constitución

The properties of KRION make the solid surface from PORCELANOSA Group an ideal material for the hospital sector, and with our love for our pets, why not extrapolate human needs when attending a hospital? It is a place where an additive-free antibacterial material is needed, with easy cleaning and imperceptible joins, which is not affected by chemical products; such as KRION. Demonstrating respect for animals, thanks to the Dobleese studio, Hospital Veterinario Constituciónhas used KRION for its new establishment in the Valencian capital. The professional team of Hospital Veterinario... Constitución undergoes continuous training, and use their experience to benefit our pets, providing professional advice for owners. For the design of its new facilities, it has relied on Dobleese, a studio specialised in corporate and residential design, led by Sara Sánchez, licenced interior designer and member of the governing board of the CDICV (the Association of Interior Designers and Decorators of the Autonomous Community of Valencia). The studio was in charge of using KRION to design the reception counter, the vertical coverings and corporate logo, along with the bathroom countertops and the horizontal surface of the treatment room, which the transformer company Kapps Krion Aplications created with the material KRION 1100 Snow White.
