Krion Porcelanosa Group has set itself a new objective of finding and... developing a more efficient, sustainable and environmentally responsible logistics system for its Krion™ LUX material, aiming to raise environmental awareness and promote the benefits of sustainable transport. Krion opts for responsible, sustainable and efficient transport. Krion™ Lux is manufactured in sheets of varying dimensions, and is transported on wooden pallets in 20 and 40-foot containers. Thanks to a new way of packing the sheets on pallets, the brainchild of the Krion PORCELANOSA Group quality and logistics department, they have succeeded in increasing the number of sheets being transported and maximised the space in each container, achieving up to 167% more sheets per pallet in certain formats. This has led to a reduction in environmental impact and carbon footprint for each sheet of up to 40%. This brings the benefit of responsible and sustainable transport, making Krion™ LUX a more environmentally-friendly material. Sustainable packaging Krion PORCELANOSA Group's mission is to find solutions to use its own recycled and renewable materials for packaging and use them more efficiently, ensuring the use of materials is always responsible - whether virgin, recycled or renewable. All the cardboard used in its packaging comes from sustainable sources, as proven by the PEFC logo print. What's more, with the new transport arrangements the brand has achieved a 14.3% reduction in the weight of cardboard used to protect Krion™ LUX. And it doesn't stop at cardboard: wood consumption has been reduced by 25% thanks to their ability to pack more sheets per pallet. Because it has a long lifespan this is a very effective raw material is effective for responsible transport, as each pallet is reused until it can no longer perform its function properly - and when that happens, it's easy to recycle. Spasvital trusts in KRION for the new Click2Drive concept from HYUNDAI

Pioneers in Spain, and with just two forerunners in the United Kingdom, HYUNDAI presents the new space in which it reinvents the experience of discovering a HYUNDAI, Click2Drive. The new space is found at the Gran Plaza 2 Shopping Centre in Majadahonda, Madrid, combining reality and virtual... reality in a place for looking, touching even trying a vehicle that we can find in the car park of the shopping centre in our own way with the help of an advisor. Due to its extensive experience of developing commercial spaces, the Spanish subsidiary of the Korean brand, HYUNDAI, selected for undertaking this project was Spasvital, a group specialised in the complete development of Premium spaces. For this work, Spasvital collaborated with architect Antonio Matamoros. Spasvital’s intention was to create a space that would evoke modernity and innovation, with resistance, durability, easy cleaning, thermocurving and being anti-bacterial without additives being some of the properties of KRION which convinced the company to incorporate our material. We can find KRION as a bar where the computer terminals are located, as a wall covering, including the wall that bears a TV screen, and a wall with images projected onto the KRION itself. The mobile stands, with the technical specifications and information on the vehicles are also made with KRION, giving the space the sensation of unity and continuity with the rest of the elements. The Deutsche Bahn station lounges in Germany are counting on KRION for their fittings

Founded on 1st January 1994, from the extinct railway companies that existed until the reunification, the main railway company in Germany, Deutsche Bahn AG,was born. With this company, we can travel on regional trains to discover the most beautiful spots, even at high-speed. An affordable and... comfortable way to travel around the country. In March 2015, Deutsche Bahn launched a competition to develop a new concept of space, whose aim was to incorporate the customer’s desires according to the different needs for use during a stay in the DB Lounge. Despite the strong competition, CRi were the winners of the competition. CRi Cronauer and Romani Innenarchitekten GmbH designed a new lounge concept in collaboration with the Deutsche Bahn. The style of the furniture brings us closer to the railway network, each one of the elements evokes a chapter of a journey, that takes us from the winding shape of the bar countertop which imitates a high-speed train, to the S shaped lines of the roof that transport us to the catenary and a bird’s-eye view of the tracks. For these fittings, they counted on the Solid Surface from the PORCELANOSAGroup, KRION. We can find KRION in the catering areas of some of the Deutsche Bahn AG stations, with its conversion into: reception desks, tables, self-service bars, seats… all of them in our colours 6101Frost White and 6401 Red Fire. In the last year, it has undergone a great expansion which is now present, thanks to the widespread recognition received from its clients, in 25 of the most important airports in all of Europe.
