Euroshop 2020: Krion's most sustainable wager

09/01/2020

Krion's most sustainable wager In the face of heightened social awareness regarding climate change and respect for the environment, companies must adapt to the interests and concerns of their customers.

Consumers are becoming aware of how their actions can affect the environment, leading them to make a series of changes to their consumption habits. These include searching for brands that don't pollute, buying products with a longer life span or even choosing products that contribute to environmental wellness.

According to the study, "Who Cares, Who does," by Kantar, 48% of consumers expect manufacturers to lead the shift towards sustainability, arguing that they bear the greatest responsibility to act on these issues.

What's more, according to a study carried out by GlobalWebIndex, 61% of consumers would change their brand if they discovered that it polluted the planet, and 57% would be willing to pay a higher price for a brand that respects the environment.

In light of this reality, brands must adhere to the new sustainable retail concept, meaning they need to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability at the point of sale itself.

This year's edition of Euroshop, the foremost retail trade fair, will be held in Düsseldorf from 16 to 20 February. In accordance with its commitment to the environment and the circular economy, Krion will present Sustainable Unlimited Surface at Euroshop. This new brand concept features a wide range of sustainable solutions and new materials to respond to the most stringent ecological demands and the needs of the market, including those of the retail sector.

The countdown begins: on 16 February the Euroshop Fair 2020 will kick off in Düsseldorf. It will be a very special event for Krion, as it demonstrates its strong commitment to sustainability. We will have more information for you soon.
