In Lyon, one of the main cities in France, a striking ventilated façade showcases the possibilities of KRION, the Solid Surface material from PORCELANOSA Group. The project was developed with the technical expertise of Butech, the group’s company specialised in construction solutions.

For a space such as PORCELANOSA Lyon, the façade needed to create a strong architectural identity. To achieve this, 600 m2 of Solid Surface sheets in KRION colour 1100 Snow White were used, highlighting the material’s machining possibilities.

The façade design combines machining work with internal and external bas-reliefs, creating a pixel-inspired effect that becomes especially visible when the building is illuminated. This gives the store a distinctive appearance and turns the exterior into a recognisable architectural feature.

Butech installed the KRION sheets using K-FIX and K-BOLT anchoring systems, securing the material to the façade profile. This technical solution reinforces the collaboration between Butech and KRION in projects where design, precision and construction performance come together.
